Ah.. I miss that crazy day...

The Prized Picture...

everyone looked so pose-r. Gerald looks good amongst the roses *snigger*.
How deceiving, this is the after production shot. If it was the pre-production times, the pic might not have looked so lovely. Actually I think he's a great guy..psychotic fatherly instructor.

People says that actors suffer from split personality disorders. I'm not sure how true is that. Well, it's not the serious kind. Just that actors have to get in and out of different characters all the time, their personality data bank goes a bit berserk sometimes.

Gerald claims that he was pretending to be angry when coaching us.

"Yeah right"

Can you imagined if he killed us on the spot then? He could tell the police he was just acting. *gosh* Ok lah.. but i like Gerald. I will be catching his award winning show next year --> Everything But the Brain.

14.5hrs more to the first paper. What an agonising wait.

My biological clock is completely screwed.

I'm feeling so paranoid that I will wake up at 11am tmr to realise my paper is over and I missed it.

I hate exams. Who loves it? I think there are people who adores it. Those are crazy people.

I'm back!

ooooOoooo... I missed blogging.

Finally, the play production is over. My assignments are mostly done, 'xcept for Praxis journal. I've got some pics taken after the performance and will put it up shortly.

(my comp's down again.. after calling it 'bitch' that night -> evidence to prove that Ivy was right when she said my comp's a female who only works well if sam touches it.)
I am definitely going to send it for reformatting aka sex change operation. Darn.

Hmm... I'm feeling a bit lost. Play's over.. and now i'm beginning to miss the terrible days of whining, the nights we practised at the mosquito infested place, Gerald's scary moodswings of Mr. Nice talks and Mr. Psycho's scoldings.

*sob* i can't believe this period is over.

Gotta thank Ker, ying & Jo for their great listening ear.. (im forever whining to them over sms, ftf) And of course to Sam & Weiliang for coming by to spend the not-worth-the-money $5. Most loved my group's play because it speaks to them more in the local context.
Domestic violence and the search for freedom.

But frankly, I think the prof loved the more cultured Far Away.

Anyway.. it's time to prepare for the exams starting on 27 Nov. urgh. Now, I hate exams....

The Wong Fu guys

Whoa, it's been a long time since I last checked them out. And I dunno what happened, I just remembered them today. Went to wongfuproductions.com and found out their webby changed and became so pro.

I've always enjoyed wonderful works of budding talents and they're one of those I really enjoy. When I first heard their music video "Senorita" I thought they suck big time. But then as years past, their short videos get better and I dunno, maybe it's just me. Check out YELLOW FEVER. BEAUTIFUL.. haha.. But I kindda like the storyline. :) Below is their latest. After graduating from UCSD.

Causes of Eye Redness

My poor little ivy.. woke up with red eyes. *yucks* She looks like an albino vampire. I think she stays in front of the comp too long without taking a break. Her eyes are breaking down.

I thought of helping her do the fav thing. Google on the cause of red eyes. For the rest of you; take care before u look like another vampire.

Eye Redness: Common Causes

Bloodshot eyes appear red because the vessels in the surface of the white portion of the eye (
sclera) become enlarged and irritated. This may result from extremely dry air, sun exposure, dust, foreign body, an allergic reaction, infection, trauma, or other conditions.
One common cause of a red eye is straining or coughing. This can lead to a bright red, uniformly dense bloody area on the sclera. This is called a subconjunctival hemorrhage. Although this bloody area may appear alarming, it is a fairly common occurrence and of little significance. If you notice a bloody blotch in one eye that doesn't hurt, but just looks bad, don't worry. It generally clears up on its own within a week or two.

Eye infections or inflammation can occur in different locations. They cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems:

Blepharitis -- inflammation of the eyelash follicles along the eyelid. It is caused by skin bacteria. Itching is common and your eyelids may appear greasy or crusty.

Conjunctivitis -- inflammation or infection of the membrane that lines the eyelids and coats the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This condition is often referred to as "pink eye". It may be caused by a virus, bacteria, allergy, or irritation. If caused by an organism, this is highly contagious.

Corneal ulcers -- often caused by a bacterial or viral infection. (The cornea is the outer covering of the eye.)

Uveitis -- inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. This is often related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. Often, only the iris is inflammed, which is called iritis.

Other potential causes include:
Cold or allergies causing redness in both eyes.
Foreign objects in the eye that cut or damage the eye.
Acute glaucoma -- a sudden increase in eye pressure that is extremely painful and causes serious visual disturbances. This is a medical emergency. Most times, glaucoma is chronic and gradual.
Corneal scratches caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contacts.
Bleeding problems (for example, from excess use of blood thinning drugs).
WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT?!?!
Apply warm compresses to soften crusts on the eyelids. For bacterial infections, washing the eye(s) gently will help remove some of the bacteria, but your health care provider should still be contacted. Eyedrops (such as Visine) may soothe minor conjunctivis, but will not cure the problem.
