Baaa...

Men with humongous ego irks me - esp those who show it on the road.

Seriously, I'm just a peaceful lil' girl who goes about enjoying my time driving.

Getting from point A to B is my aim.

It tickles me sometimes to watch guys trying to race me, thinking I was challenging them...

@_@ 'hello?????' *sweat*

Maybe these men find it intimidating that my humble car flies past them and my average speed is a declaration of 'Let's Race! Mr.. HUNK..'

Get a life!

I've so much more things on earth here for. I don't wanna kill myself over a stupid road race in Singapore with Mr. BIG EGO.

Of course, it's a whole different stopry if I die racing beside Michael Schumacher *rolls eyes*

Another crappy incident with a Mr. Hyundai Getz this morning.

Really.. it's funny how he wants to challenge and never caught up & what's funnier was.. my speed was constant during those seconds.

Man! Pisses me off sometimes. If you wanna race, win me. Otherwise don't start. It just makes you look stupid. Absolutely.

And boys... don't grow an ego that huge. Women simply HATE it.

Ought to be Killed.....

I'm going on strike. Refusing to do my work. Refusing to study... *tears hair* whhhhhyyyy?

Suddenly realised it's been years since I last hit the KTV... :P

then I thought of her... another one of my fav girls. I love her songs but I never attempted Aurora - too fast to catch the words on screen... muahaha...

She's very pretty.. but too skinny :(

Internet is the most distracting invention ever.

I tried but got lost in Facebook.com and spent too much time trying to figure it out.

Then I started youtubing.. but resisted my URGE to watch 愛情魔髮師 - The Magician of Love... will catch it on TV later.
Got cute guys... how can I miss it?? *blech*

RoTato.. POtaTo... oh whatever

Game Design presentation was a breeze today... Of course.. with my group.. we are FAN-tastic!!

we're so confident we did well. *grin*

afterall, we were so thankful that God has put different talents & wonderful pple together.

Check out our ROTATO boardgame done from scratch!!

The packaging was designed by Boon -> the handsome gem in the team...

Inside the game box...

game board.. 3D, rotatable some more!

Proud members of Rotato creation... of course, checking out who's the best choice for Rotato model. :P (*isn't it obvious who's the best poser.... *rolls eyes* :P)
Anyhow, I think that both Bern and Boon did so much for the team due to the roles they took up.

Boon is the expert LA... he does photoshop like pro... and both of them are such perfectionist too.. makes me pale in comparison to them. :(

Since entreprenuerial 10 members proj team, haven't had such fun with a grp of project buddies..

(of course, let's not count in the theatre modules can??? That is absolutely crazy, cosy, bitchy, lame straights, gays and lesbians bunch...)

Frankly, in Communications modules, it's forever report writing. So exciting =.=

Half the time with these guys.... we're oogling at girls and guys and dishing out hall stuff, bgr stuff... oh whatever...

Will be missing u all when Fiona & I moved to another grp while you boys get to work with ur babe of the class... *sweat*

Enjoy

Got this from Dennis' blog. Thought of sharing. Nice.. esp the second half.

Saw something similar to this at arts fest '06 where this angmoh did a painting of elvis UPSIDE DOWN. amazing.

these people are just so incredibly talented.

Just as I was spreading a lil joy.....

Last Friday I had the worst coming. Absolutely painful morning to start off with.

In a hurry to get out of the house, I dropped my laptop onto the floor only to open it in the train to see my screen terribly cracked.

Extremely heartbreaking.

Instead of heading to school for my meeting, I could only think of getting it fixed.

***

Heartbreak #2

To my horror of horrors, the lady quoted $1443.16 to repair my tablet PC screen.

I managed a weak smile and asked her if she was kidding.. to my dismay she said she wasn't.

I left my laptop with them keeping my fingers crossed, praying hard that the repair cost would be greatly reduced.

***

That day was completely too emotional for me to move ard.

Two who got my call within the hour of the incident can feel my crazy state of horrendous, uncontrollable sobbing.... Sorry to traumatise u both with that.

I spent too much time & energy thinking about what happened that I took the weekend to stuff myself with what I missed out --- FOOD :(

Thank God for my games proj buddies to take my mind off that issue temporarily...

but after that was... sigh

***

Well, I promised to keep my faith up! (though my heart is still in pieces..... )

***

Now.. catching up on projects might be tougher than I thought...
but thanks for lending me your laptop & fixing my desktop.. :)

Everybody Loves a GOOD Ad!

I enjoy good short films, entertaining tv commercials.. and my kids would know that from the stuff I show them in class. :)

Well.. a little happiness to spread in the midst of all the mugging, rushing and tiring, I-desperately-need-a-break people.. :)

Coca-CoLa's Happiness Ad! Spread the joy!

I always love Coke's advert though I'm not much a fan of their product...

***

That much for a happy lil ad. But the following is closer to my heart. I grew up singing to this..

***

Last joke-a-mercial to share and....... THE REASON TO LEARN ENGLISH!!

You don't wanna to be shaking to the wrong music! >.<

*Disclaimer: It's just a joke & thank God I'm out of school as a teacher.

Kids, DON'T YOU DARE USE THE FOLLOWING AD TO share with your current teachers as to WHY you might LOVE English SUDDENLY.

God is Amazing... just speechless

Christmas Musical Meeting in Church last night....

remember the last time I spoke about the director? Mrs Coach bag tai tai director?

She shocked the hell out of me last night.

Anyway, bottom line was... she might be throwing everything to me when she leaves for another church at the end of the year (probably before the musical).

***

Got a call from Samat. He was clearly upset at the level of commitment in Mrs Coach Bag.

And challenged me to be the Director of the Christmas Musical instead.

I accepted it this morning... still awaiting the approval from Gloria after probably dismissing Mrs C. Bag. :(

Seriously... I think God is the One challenging my faith.

In the morning, He told me everything I am going through definitely has an end to it.

Yet at night, He gave me more upon my shoulders.

***

Dennis told me about the parable on the Shepherd & the Hired Hand.

He said the Hired Hand is one who was paid to do the job, the Shepherd was not.

When something befalls on the sheep, the Hired Hand runs, but the Shepherd is willing to lay His life down for the sheep.

I was extremely touched & I knew I could not let God's work fall into the hands of that. :(

I decided to take on the role of the Shepherd - with no previous experience. It takes a big big courage to do this.

In Him I trust, I take that leap of FAITH!

*Aza Aza Hwaiting*!

Oldie... Ming Tian Hui Gen Hao!

Talk about feeling old...

while rushing my proj in the wee hours of Mon morning, Bern sent me an oldie to share...

when I played it I was so like.......

?-_-? ...... @_@....... @ o @ ........ \@o@/ *gasp*

Sob Sob...
(ok I have some problems expressing myself with words sometimes, so I go with word sounds or actions...)

I recalled how I love this song soooooooooooooooooooo Much when I was in Kindergarten that I always make it a point to push the cassette into the player in my dad's car.

Mommy always sing the title to us in a bid to cheer us up or encourage us
(I think more like she only remember the title -_-)

That is why Ivy and I cannot forget this song...

Anyway, I brushed away the idea of putting the song on my blog lest u people throw coconuts at me.

Thus I decided to put it in this blog entry.

Very meaningful.

Dedicated to people of my ERA. :)

Credits to the man who found and sent me this! Thanks Bern. :)

Why do I feel so OLD?

Met Husni on the way to school the other day and he kept asking for a gathering.

everything is just soooooooo nostalgic.

Gathering.... hm... let's see...

HIGH SCHOOL REUNION CLASS OF '98 - 203

Next year will be 10 years to be exact...

while those who WILL be in 203 next year is only 14 years old...

God. I feel super old.

***

I was prompted to reflect about some stuff after my lil brother asked me a question few days back.

***

It's true how each and everyone of our lives are akin to that of a journey.

Along the way you meet people who will join you in your walk - you talk most often, you share your deepest secrets, you laugh & you cry together..

But when you reach a road intersection, you both will have to head different directions.

That's also when each of our lives get caught up with work, time to make choices to get into our next phase of life.

***
I used to think that it was the end when we all part....

but as I was catching up with day & ly over msn the other night, I realised things haven't really changed much.

We're still us - except 10 years older from the day we first met.

***

Many people will walk in & out of your lives,

but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

Should you come back one day,

those footprints that you left,

will fit you snugly still.

***

Sotong head

Haha... I didn't realise I had an unfinished post. Sorry!

It must have been the call from Mr Swan & Woon Kiat that distracted me. :P

anyhow, thanks for perking me up with that really surprising call!

Do you all know I developed the group pictures I took with you all and stuck it to my wardrobe?

So I get to see all you guys everday ^_^

***

anyway, the full post is done below. :)

Shop Over Sex *miff*

Bad Good Girl.. oh whatever...

I skipped Sociology lecture on SEXUALITY to go shopping at Glamourlicious Bazaar with Ker on thurs.

Ah ha... what were you guys thinking of?? *rolls eyes*

I seriously wanted to get out of crazy 6 hrs straight classes on thurs and thus I decided to go dig some Clinique & M.A.C stuff at the bazaar.

Bad idea.

Squeezing amongst hordes of girls was not a great idea of de-stress.

But getting good buy was!

Anyhow, I realised I dig Lipglosses!!

Pink, Wet lips are something I would die for.

Yet, like sunglasses, as much as I love them, I don’t use them very often.

Anyway, we met these two (really) tall M.A.C makeup artists.

They are MEN!! With boobs. (urgh.. it’s not like I have never seen one, but I have never stood less than 1 metre away from one!)

One of them was sooooooo sweet. She was just pushing the last piece of Tinted Lip Conditioner to me.

***

Catching up over lunch and skipping lecture was something I missed doing. -_- but it’s a price to pay...

.... high level of guilt. >.<

For MAC fans out there =)

Good, funny adverts are meant to be appreciated.

And Mac does it so well with their series.

Below is just 15 of the many many cute ads they have.

Watch all, it's really cute.

Watch out for hot Gisele Bundchen at the second last ad too :)

Funny how MAC brand themselves for the young, funky hippies.

However research shows that majority who owns MAC are 35 and above.

Now... are you still a MAC fan? Why not wait till U're 35?? *snigger*

Thanks for the Cheer~

The saddest thing about being a girl is having to go through the crappiest moodswings

(possibly once a month? Or perpectually 24/7 throughout the whole year).

And worst...

guys think we're being emo & absolutely impossible to understand.

Frankly... like HELLO... we want to?!?! *throws hands up in despair*

***

haha... nope, i didn't get into a fight with anybody that resulted in this post

guess I've been feeling pretty stressed trying so hard to catch up with work work & work.. and the most incredulous thing happened to me.

My tear glands were extremely active when I stepped out of the house and it just couldn't stop throughout my whole journey to school!! Crap. Freaking embarrassing & I don't know what happened!!

The last time this happened was during my rehearsal for play production after Dr Loon made a remark noticing i was out of sorts & didn't put in my best during the whole night. My tear glands was active for 2,3 hrs straight.. sobbed like a cow in front of the whole cast & crew & they thought I went crazy -_-

Frankly, it's just the time of the month & that's the reason I hate being a girl sometimes

Hey boys, IT'S NOT LIKE WE CAN HELP IT!

haha... so do understand if sometimes your girl classmates go berserk or your female teachers turn into gila monstrous bitches. Really... TRY to understand us. We have our moments too! ^_^

***

But... it's always comforting to come into my blog and see little cheers on my tagboard! Thanks to you all who made my day.

*Hugs & Smooches*

P.S. If I don't reply ur smses/msn messages or tag posts... I probably am busy.
But i remember those who send their lil' HELLOs!
So keep them coming in!
I Love them all!!

Little XYZs on a Thursday...

End of another school week for me. >.<

I decided to rebel and not do any work tonight. But I just can't stop thinking about what is not completed. Ultra worrier.

***

teehee, one handsome guy came behind and tapped me when I was in my blur state of mind searching for some books.

Took quite a while for me to register this tall, handsome, bespectacled boy-in-cap.

My WeiHao!!! ^_^

crazy... still ask why I'm so high.... duh~!

anyhow, I was thinking on the way out... yea, maybe I should cut back on my ethusiasm around you guys, otherwise most of the time i am met with anticlimax situations. =.=

i forgot.. only girls' school people are crazily high when they see another girl... then again, when did I adopt such behaviour when i'm (fortunately) not from one?

***

Blog voyeuring again.

I finally went to search for the Blinkers' blogsss and added them to my favourites.

Beautiful blogs they have.

Read some of their August 08/09/10 posts and it brought back the sweetest and most heart warming moments. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... esp. Zhiyee's.

Now I know what I have done to make them cry =(

=I'll be back soon=

Little XYZs on a Wednesday...

Frankly, I'm scared of people who whine. Especially guys. AND those who whine alot.

Maybe it's how Ivy & I were brought up to be.

Whining never solve problems.

If something bad happens, sleep and wake up to something new.

Don't keep going on and on about it. It just drives you crazy.... and those who listen to you.

Believe me, I had a guy friend who never stop whining and when I don't pay attention, I forget it is a HE.

***

i hate coffee.... it's my crack

i need at least one a day to keep myself alive.

to keep my brain functioning

to keep me sane

to keep me high

i hate coffee

***

Lunchtime surfing brought me into blog peeking again. -_-

I'm a regular at my ex's gf's site. Seriously, just kaypoing on my part.

Saw their 11th month celebration photos... haha... on a mean side, I wonder how long they might last but then again, I'm not too bothered anyhow.

but I'm reminded of Khoo ee's msn nick. :P .high five to that. freedom totally rocks.

but the boys who have profess your love for her, kudos to you for your courage!!!

Ivy's right about what Anthony Robbins says, 'Get out of a toxic relationship' - drop those who cannot make you happy. :)

Looking back, I think i have never made one wrong move.

When a well deserved break is needed....

Haven't touch a book in a long long while.

But just Friday, something prompted me to borrow this book...

It's a beautiful lil book...

a guy who reunited with his Professor in his last moments, re-learn the meaning of life.

Very painful to read and having to go through visualising how this old man slowly transists to his death.

Yet I would love to do something the old man did - hold a living 'funeral'...

what's the point of people telling you your best when you lay motionless in the casket?

hear it just before you die so you can bring it along with your to heaven.

***

4th week into school and I feel like I'm running a neverending marathon... whoever is nuts enough to finish all their readings.

I blog to destress.. and you can count how often I blog and it is equivalent to the number of pimples on my face.

Other than work, some crappy spiritual encounters is driving me nuts especially when i have to work into the night - when everyone else is sleeping.

***

Thank God I have my Prince of P.E.A.C.E...
Girls Blog. Guys Stalk.

Now now... how true is that?

Guys my age claim it's pretty sissy to be constantly updating their blogs with little whats-not. But half the time they always start checking out girls' blogs. yikes yikes.

***

In Specs I Trust.

For the 2nd time ever since I pledge my life to contact lenses, I fell prey into eye infection.

Bloody hell.

The last time was my right, last night was my left. -_-

Now my left eye is currently on MC from contacts. (yea, includes my right as well)

It's not that I'm unhygienic, I just don't get it.

I see how my students handle their contacts and I think they might screw their eyes faster than me. Now i need to suck my own feet. :(

Anyhow... Ker dear, U still haven't make ur decent specs yet!!! Don't me second me. :P

Sightings!!! Suicidal Subject!

When I was waiting for the bus down my place, I looked up to my block and horror of horrors......!!!

I saw someone ready to get out of my parents' windows!!

No... we don't have an all pink human subject to begin with...

Is it the 7th month friends? Am I seeing things in broad daylight?

Oh God... he looks ready to jump!

haha... can't you guys tell? It's Blinklet.

To allow the zoom function on my phone, i have to snap it in VGA mode, thus it's not very clear.

but then again......... when I saw that, I cannot stop laughing...

Person manuevuring Blinklet was mom. -_-

Yeah, my mom rocks, just as i do... *rolls eyes*

Well, I left Blinklet in the living room to be mom's only companion at home before I went out and this is what she did to him. -_-

He's really heavy and she's not too tall, what i was afraid is that while trying to get Blinklet to wave to me, she might accidentally send herself right down to where I was standing as well.. hahahaa.....

Crappy mom. But she's extremely adorable. No wonder... great genes! *snigger*

End of Drama Addiction!

With a comp in the room, there is an added temptation to be stuck to it 24/7.

Horrible Aileen :(

Yes, last time we have to use it in the study where the modem is and since my dear brother Philemon lent us his wireless while he suffers in Shenzhen, I have the liberty of surfing even on my bed. (See.... an evil way of putting the blame on someone else).

***

Anyway, I couldn't stand it any longer and I cruchyrolled for SHADES OF TRUTH <水浒无间道> and finished all the episodes already!

Well, I love dramas especially the HK ones because I think they are so much better!

HongKong is the Chinese's Hollywood and they simply rocks.

SHADES OF TRUTH taps on the storyline of Infernal Affairs <无间道>(otherwise the copycat THE DEPARTED) and Heroes of the Water Margin <水浒传>.
- 'xcept it's even more complicated & exciting
- well crafted storyline
- lame and funny
- Cute guys! ( I love big-eyed Julian Cheung Chilam 張智霖 & slity eyed Wong Hei 王喜)
I think it beats hands down to Infernal Affairs and all the rest.

Little XYZs

With so much things and so little time, I can only do quick updates on my blog.

***
I got a wake up call from Weihao on Darren's phone!!! So sweeeeeeeeettttttttttt.... and then James took over. *Muakzz*

I think I was extremely tired to hear them call and it must have been a few times before I picked up.
but thanksssssssss........ I love it sooooooo much. *criesss*
***

Went for Parish meeting (20 cell groups combined meeting) in church last night and we had buffet dinner and games.
Haha... YH said I bullied the kids cuz I initiated the challenge to Scissors Paper Stone. Of course man! I got the kick out of sticking the dots on their face after I won them!
I miss Crusade camps..... :(

In cell, other than Ivan being the youngest, I'm next. The rest are either older, working, or half dead. Most of the time I just look like the super-enthu of the deads.... -_-ll

***
Speak of the devil... at night I went home and saw a letter from The Air Force... yippie.

2 scheduled tests (total of 7hrs) to sit for but they sent out the crappy letter so late and then I missed 1 test that was scheduled yesterday.. *&(*(*&%^$#^*&(

what's with the SAF Career Centre?

Well anyway it's not like I might pass... it's all aptitude selection tests. some friends didn't get in either.

Just trying my luck in fulfilling my childhood dream :P

Saw Ying's Facebook with the Seoul's food and scenery!!! I can't wait to go! *tae ha Mingook* >.<
