anyhow.. I just had the most wonderful meetup with the DMC girls at Cafe Le Claire at Arab Street.

Just food, fun, updates, laughter, groping, whacking, cam whoring..

Frankly... we've just become much more decent.

Thanks to Uncle Sam, I was volunteered into Backup Singing at the Sanctuary for Christmas Service *ba*
He's looking more and more like the cute uncle bassist in 4WM. Muahhahaha... :P

my dear kairos pcm is so sweet to turn up specially early to grab seats in the sanctuary just to catch my debut =.= but all can't hear my voice. haha..

hm... good experience esp when my Mr Keith complimented me~~ urgh.. pip-pop-pip-pop

Anyway, I believe in giving money to those who are worth it.

This boy at Sony Square in Sim Lim Square is fantastic.

He was extremely helpful in providing details about the different cameras and even demonstrated their functions... better still, no stupid face when we told him we wanted to walk around first before buying.

Caught The Warlords on friday night.

One word...

Brilliant.

Script is good & meaningful. Cinematography, nothing to complain. Actors... SPLENDID.

nothing can go wrong when you have three drop dead gorgeous actors...

DROPPING PICK UP LINES

anyway... someone's shirt caught my eye today - a plain white with a golden circle at the centre that is embossed with 'EVERLASTING GOD'

I muttered, 'Nice Shirt' & the conversation went on.

That guy subsequently asked me to join the annual YISS conference meant for catholics & said that non-cats do attend and it's super good.

But isn't it a youth thing?

anyway, the rest thought I was trying some pick up lines & started to use the 'NICE SHIRT' pickup line to strike conversations...

Frankie & Alex were freaking hilarious but too bad... only Aileen is the master of such capable lines :P

DISAPPOINTING...

Yep. Maybelline's latest Angelfit 2 way foundation is extremely disappointing.

And they claim it's fit for Asian skin.

Even the lightest OC range was too dark for me much less Ivy who bought the similar tone.

At the end of the day, I look almost like half roasted chicken (ok, exaggeration works well to bring the meaning across)

Biotherm is still the best, but too expensive to be a staple :(

IT's ONLY THE BEGINNING

Christmas Musical is finally over and it is definitely not the last.

Well, I would say... it wasn't that good. At least to my own standards.

My girlfriends know that if I did not extend any invitation to them, it is one which I think is not worth their time.

I can't help it, despite it being a church production, I have expectations.

But the process was definitely a fruitful experience, given the opportunities to work with so many BIG brothers & sisters - a bunch of guardian angels whom I have thanked umpteen times.

I was taught humility, respect & love.

let's just say, working in an environment esp when you are dealing with a group of people who can jolly well be your mom/dad/granddad/grandma... is extremely... CHALLENGING

it's unprofessional to lose your cool, get temperamental & argue..

and the best way to keep your cool is to zone off for 30 secs to be Calvin, think of a solution... when done, present your idea with an angelic smile. Good?

Sounds so hypocritical. But i think it keeps you sane :)

Trust me. Try it next time.

a trip to the most wonderful toystore

I traded pcm time for a visit to this season's beautiful toystore at Cineleisure.

And Jeffrey had the honour to make me feel so bad about it.... =.=

I caught the Gala Premiere of Mr Magorium Wonder Emporium last night with Ivy.

Very nice, fantasy film for both of us to catch it together.

Despite an abrupt ending, we enjoyed it pretty much because we can identify with Mr Magorium and his magical life with dolls & toys.

Hahah... hm... it's a sisters' thingy which ... still carries on till today... nevermind. *Secret*

But I guess everyone has this little child in them which they deny as they grow older..

... that's why this show brings audience into a One half hour of temporal escapism.

The FUNKY side of CHINESE

I was waiting for the train when I saw the ad through the glass doors..

MANDARIN = COOL = GAME?

MANDARIN + GAME = COOL?

I don't see how it links sportsmen and mandarin and coolness together.

But I sure find that Singapore is really going all the way out get the youngsters into the Mandarin fever.

Will they succeed?

I dunno.

Maybe with S-PoP.. YES?

It's pretty sad.

We never really hear Singapore pushing for Malays or Indians to speak their Mother Tongue language.

What's with speaking Mandarin? Low class? Uncool? or... you really don't know?

I think Mandarin is one of the most unique and beautiful language which has complicated strokes in the characters compared to the circles & lines.

Frankly, there's nothing to be proud of being a monolinguist.

Go polish your Mandarin, support 华语COOL campaign & be a proud Singaporean Chinese.

another Sunday spent at settler's cafe after soooooooooo long :p

That was to fulfill Paul's wish before he heads for mission in Chiang Mai & it was a first visit for Cindy and PA.

No, Ivan... u didn't miss any fun. Because the dentist spent the whole time teaching us RISK....Zz.zzz.Z....Z....z....

he doesn't like himbimbo games...... :(

so we ended up admiring other tables screaming in laughter while we sat solemnly trying and pretending hard to strategise our armies.... BOOOhhooo...

every year I pray that Singapore will SNOW miraculously!! :)

考试终于完了! 心情却是有点…说不出的感觉.

朋友都传了简讯恭贺我竟然度过十六年的考试恶魔!

但是我在那最后的一个小时,突然有一点依依不舍的感触,犹豫了一下子才决定提早离开考场
(因为那里实在是太冷了)!

我看我不得以摆脱学生的身份踏入社会做女强人了!! 嘻嘻!
